Three Highest Mountains
Every of these mountains...
...can be called highest on earth in its own way.
Mount Everest: Highest up from sea level. Kilimanjaro: Highest free-standing mountain on the surface. Mauna Kea: From foot to peak, highest mountain on earth, mainly in the ocean.
The Highest Iceberg
The highest iceberg on Earth is the Larsen-C Iceberg in Antarctica. It is located in the Larsen-C Ice Shelf, part of the Antarctic ice sheet. This iceberg, which broke off from the shelf in 2017, covers approximately 5,800 km², making it one of the largest ever observed. Its height above sea level is about 30–50 meters, with around 90% of its mass below the water surface. It drifts in the Weddell Sea, influencing ocean currents and the local ecosystem. Due to its enormous size and mass, it remains a focus of climate research.
